First National Corporation, the bank holding company of First Bank, hired W. Todd Ross as market president for the Roanoke Valley region in Virgina. Ross will be responsible for all lines of business banking and business development while partnering with other core functions, such as retail, treasury and mortgage banking.

Ross has more than 30 years of banking experience in the Roanoke Valley region, including leadership and production roles with several regional and local banks. Ross will lead First Bank’s strategic efforts in the market following the 2021 merger with the former Bank of Fincastle, including plans to expand in the Roanoke, VA, market.
