The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association will host a free webinar, “ELFA’s Climate Finance Working Group Presents: A Briefing of the Inflation Reduction Act,” on June 22 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. EDT.
The webinar will provide details on the Inflation Reduction Act, which was signed into law in 2022 and provides for significant investment in climate and clean energy. The webinar will cover the implications of this legislation for the equipment finance industry in a briefing sponsored by the ELFA’s climate finance working group. A 30-minute presentation will be followed by a Q&A period to answer attendee questions about the act.
Expert presenters for the webinar will include moderator Patricia Voorhees, chair of the ELFA’s climate finance working group, and speaker Carla Frisch, acting executive director and principal deputy director of the Department of Energy.
Voorhees has written and presented widely on the significant opportunity that climate equipment finance presents for the industry. She is director of fintech strategic consulting and M&A advisory at The Alta Group.
Frisch has worked extensively on climate vulnerabilities and solutions, including 10 years directing policy and analysis offices focused on climate and environment, energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean transportation and electricity systems.
