As a result of an ownership change in April, Mitsui Rail Capital rebranded as Modern Rail Capital. Along with the name change, the Chicago-based railcar lessor has a new logo, color scheme and website.
“With this name change, we aim to embrace a fresh identity that reflects our growth, adaptability and forward-thinking approach,” Kevin Cook, president of Modern Rail Capital, said. “MRC embodies the essence of our company’s values and our relentless pursuit of excellence with focus on our customers, and that comes from a modern approach to railcar leasing.”
Modern Rail Capital was consolidated under one parental entity earlier this year when JA Mitsui Leasing Capital acquired full ownership from Mitsui. The deal became official on March 31.
