Blue Ridge Bank, a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Bankshares, named Dean Brown chief operations and technology officer.

Brown joined Blue Ridge Bank with more than 30 years of experience building and managing enterprise-level information systems and operations. His most recent role was managing partner with a professional services company, providing interim and fractional C-suite executive services focused on digital transformation and cybersecurity management. Prior to that he oversaw enterprise operations and information technology functions to help grow a local regional bank from $6 billion to $20 billion over seven years.

Brown will be located in Blue Ridge Bank’s commercial headquarters in Richmond, VA.
