Ivory Consulting is marking its 40th year in the equipment finance industry this year. Over the last four decades, Ivory Consulting has transformed into a provider of equipment lease and loan pricing, portfolio analysis and asset management software, along with a provider of software customizations, consulting services and training.
“As I look back on the past 40 years, it’s the relationships we’ve built that stand out,” Chris Ivory, founder of Ivory Consulting, said. “From the early days showcasing what was then known as TRUMP at ELA conferences to today, it’s been a remarkable journey. All along, we have been guided by our customers as we strove to create the most relied-upon solution for modeling and pricing complex, tax-advantaged leases.”
The creation of SuperTRUMP began 50 years ago, when Ivory wrote his first, and later his second, lease analysis computer programs as an employee of two lessors. In 1983, he and Susan Ivory founded Ivory Consulting to create a lease analysis solution and introduced the equipment finance industry to its TRUMP product.

Ivory Consulting will display a collection of artifacts celebrating its history in equipment finance at its exhibit booth at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s annual convention this year.
