Horizon Bank hired Steven Post as vice president of capital markets and the middle market, according to a LinkedIn post from Post. Post previously served as senior vice president of capital markets – indirect finance at First Midwest Equipment Finance, a subsidiary of First Midwest Bank, from 2020 to the end of last year.
Post originally joined First Midwest Equipment Finance in 2018 as vice president of capital markets – indirect finance before being promoted in 2020. Prior to First Midwest, Post was a vice president of capital markets at Scottrade from 2014 to 2017, a senior vice president of sales at Somerset Capital from 2009 to 2014 and a vice president of business development at Banco Popular North America from 2008 to 2009. Post also served in a business development role from 1996 to 2008 for GE Capital and was a leasing manager for Linotype from 1990 to 1993.
