Crane rental and lift solutions provider Maxim Crane Works promoted Larry Lis to chief operations officer.

During his tenure at Maxim Crane Works, Lis has held numerous roles across the entire company, specifically in operations and sales. Lis started his career with the company in 1999 as a sales representative, moving into operations management in 2009. He was appointed regional vice president of the company’s Northeast region in 2012 and the vice president of the Midwest region in 2016 before moving to the vice president of fleet management role.
In his capacity as COO, Lis will oversee all operational aspects of Maxim Crane Works’ six US regions and more than 50 branch locations. His direct reports will include the company’s six regional vice presidents, as well as the vice president roles in its crawler and operational excellence departments. Larry will report to McDonnell and will be based in the company’s Canonsburg, PA, office.
