Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL) announced the launch of an equipment finance division, broadening its financial services beyond commercial trucks and trailers. The new division aims to help businesses acquire a range of equipment, including heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks, specialty trailers, warehouse equipment, and construction machinery.
“TEL is known as a leading provider of commercial truck and trailer leasing, sales and remarketing to truck fleets and owner-operators in the US,” Jud Alexander, president of TEL, said. “The new equipment finance division is a natural outgrowth of our strengths in financing and transportation. We are diversifying by expanding financing services to cover a broader range of equipment used in transportation and logistics, and in related industries including construction, and food and beverage.”
Jennifer Sablowski, a veteran in the equipment finance sector, has been appointed Vice President of Equipment Finance to lead the initiative. An active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, she brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role.
Expanded Financing
TEL finances each customer’s equipment of choice, from their preferred vendor.
“We’re focused on financing hard assets that customers want to procure for their businesses,” Sablowski said. “Not only Class 8 trucks and semi-trailers, which we have long financed, but many other kinds of assets including heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks, specialty trailers, material handling and warehouse equipment, construction equipment, and yellow iron machinery.”
“Our finance experts can recommend the best financing option for the equipment based on the customer’s unique business needs,” she added. “TEL provides customers a number of lease and loan options for financing their equipment, as well as value-added services they may not expect. We can manage the purchase order process with the vendor, track delivery, pay the vendor directly, and handle titling and other paperwork for our customers.”
