John Marshall Bank (JMB), a subsidiary of John Marshall Bancorp, hired Pete Follansbee as senior vice president, Commercial Team Lead in Prince William County and the surrounding areas. With a focus on commercial business, including trade contractors, Follansbee will play a key role in the growth of the Bank’s core markets and industry specialties.

Before joining John Marshall Bank, Follansbee served as a commercial relationship manager for Sandy Spring Bank and as a Commercial Banker for Truist. With over 28 years of banking and leadership experience, Follansbee brings strategic experience to strengthen existing relationships while pursuing meaningful new business partnerships in and around Prince William County.
Follansbee graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Prior to joining the banking industry, he served in the United States Navy.
