Great American Insurance Group’s Specialty Equipment Division has announced a new strategic collaboration with TRNSACT, a digital financing platform for commercial equipment dealers, to embed real-time insurance quotes into the equipment sales process.
The collaboration allows physical damage insurance from Great American to be accessed directly through the TRNSACT platform, giving dealers and customers faster, more convenient access to insurance coverage during financing and sales.
The integration is designed to streamline dealership operations by enabling instant insurance quoting and improved visibility into coverage options and costs. The goal is to help dealers meet insurance requirements more efficiently while enhancing the buying experience for customers.
“Now, by embedding Great American’s technology into our software, we can provide insurance quotes in real time, further delivering efficiency to the dealer experience,” said Beckham Thomas, CEO and co-founder of TRNSACT.
Bryan Inman, senior business development specialist at Great American, noted that insurance is a critical part of equipment transactions. “Collaborating with TRNSACT ensures dealers can focus on closing deals while providing their customers with quick and easy access to coverage,” he said.
The insurance coverage is underwritten by Great American Insurance Company and Great American Spirit Insurance Company, both rated “A+” (Superior) by AM Best.
TRNSACT’s platform is used by dealers, manufacturers and lenders across the commercial truck and equipment industry. The collaboration marks a step toward integrating insurance and financing into a single, seamless process for sales teams and their customers.
