Eboni Preston-Laurent is a driving force behind inclusion in the equipment finance industry. She established the ELFA Talent Pipeline Opportunity Fund, awarding annual grants to emerging professionals and fully sponsoring their participation in key industry events like the ELFA Annual Convention.
Preston-Laurent also played a pivotal role in launching the Power of People Summit, an initiative focused on leadership, empowerment and career growth. Under her leadership, ELFA’s inclusion strategy evolved to prioritize diverse talent recruitment, training and retention while advancing inclusive workplace practices. “Real inclusion feels like walking into a room and knowing you don’t have to shrink to fit — because the space was built with you in mind,” she says.
She also modernized the association’s mentorship program by shifting to a virtual model, making mentorship more accessible and impactful across the ELFA membership.
