Wells Fargo & Company announced that Jon R. Hansen has been promoted to market executive for Government Banking in the Western U.S. Based in Los Angeles, he reports to Elena M. Gallo, head of Government Banking.
Hansen’s appointment comes as Wells Fargo continues to expand its specialized support for public sector clients across the Western U.S., reinforcing its commitment to delivering tailored financial services to state and local governments.
A 25-year financial services veteran, Hansen will lead the Government Banking team in Arizona, California and Hawaii. He succeeds Kristen Trivison, who served as managing director and market executive for the Western U.S. since 2022, and has now taken on a role focused on Commercial Banking Market Coverage, continuing to support client engagement initiatives across the region.

Hansen most recently served as a senior relationship manager for Government Banking in Los Angeles. His previous experience includes J.P. Morgan, where he specialized in govenrment, higher education and not-for-profit banking.
He began his financial services career at Wells Fargo in fixed income sales.
Hansen earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of San Diego.
Government Banking is part of Wells Fargo Specialized Industries, led by Mary Katherine DuBose. Her responsibilties also include teams in sectors such as Beverage, Commercial Auto, Commodity, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Higher Education and Technology.
