2026 NextGen: Jordan Bonneur

Jordan Bonneur, Accounting Supervisor, KLC Financial

“Leadership is action not a position.” I lead by taking ownership, acting with accountability, and supporting others through transparency and learning. By setting the standard through my work, I aim to empower those around me to grow and succeed.

In Jordan Bonneur’s view, a viable leader not only steps up and takes initiative during periods of prosperity and collective success, but also accountability and ownership when bottlenecks occur. Through this framing, team leaders and department heads can outline a model for successful collaboration – not unlike the model that Bonneur and his team have used to great effect.

Over the past 18 months, KLC Financial has assumed more robust loan servicing capabilities, driven in large part by the strong internal collaboration between Bonneur and his team. Integrating full loan servicing into the company’s operations required employees to quickly learn multiple new systems within a compressed timeline.

Through Bonneur’s leadership and a collaborative team effort, KLC successfully strengthened its servicing department while creating capacity for team members to focus on other key initiatives.

Bonneur found his passion for specialty finance through KLC Financial’s diverse portfolio and commitment to client service, developing a strong appreciation for the direct impact organizations like KLC can have on their clients’ long-term success. That perspective continues to shape his “lead by example” leadership style, as he works to support and advocate for his team while empowering them to take ownership of their work and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

With his experience and affinity for tireless client service and a communal outlook on leadership, Bonneur has fully embodied leadership as a virtue rather than a position.
