Assistant Vice President
of Operations,
QuickFi
“To me, leadership means cultivating a space where everyone’s voice and opinions can be understood. Everyone has unique thoughts and ideas; being able to listen and integrate all perspectives to achieve a goal is how I strive to be as a leader.”
Jessica Spahn’s entry into the equipment finance industry began with an opportunity at QuickFi, a role that propelled her from industry newcomer to assistant vice president of operations. Over the past year, Spahn has gained deep expertise in the multifaceted world of equipment finance, particularly within the construction equipment sector — an area she hadn’t anticipated entering when she began her career.
Spahn approaches problem-solving with a logical, outcomes-driven mindset: assessing the current state, defining the ideal result and mapping the path between the two. This was most evident when she helped lead her team through the company’s highest monthly booked volume in its history. The experience not only tested the team’s capabilities but also exposed process inefficiencies, creating opportunities for improvement and new projects. She also leveraged AI tools and coding expertise to automate and streamline collections workflows.
As a leader, Spahn describes her style as inclusive, objective and resourceful. Operating within a smaller team, she ensures that every voice is heard, viewing objectivity as a means of supporting clear communication and achieving goals. Spahn’s resourcefulness allows her to solve complex problems with existing tools while mentoring her team in the process. This commitment to growth is reciprocal: she places equal value on her colleagues’ insights and fosters a culture of continuous, collective learning.
