GreatAmerica opened the Fall 2026 application period for its Employee Advised Fund (EAF) on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026. Applications from area nonprofits will be accepted through Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, with submissions closing at 4:30 p.m. CT.
The Employee Advised Fund empowers GreatAmerica employees to make charitable giving decisions on behalf of the company, directly impacting organizations that strengthen the communities where employees live and work. Through this program, employees play a direct role in supporting causes that make a meaningful difference across Eastern Iowa and beyond.
Since its inception, the Employee Advised Fund has provided support to local nonprofits, helping expand programs, services and resources that benefit individuals and families throughout the Corridor.
Eligible nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply during the application period.
“At GreatAmerica, we know we have a duty to make the places we live better. When our employees lead our giving, it reflects who we are, and it helps us attract and retain great people who want to be part of something bigger,” Martin Golobic, CEO of GreatAmerica Financial Services, said. “We believe in taking care of the places that take care of us. Our employees lead how we give back, and we’re grateful for the way they show up.”
Nonprofit organizations must have a registered 501(c)(3) status and a GreatAmerica employee sponsor to apply. The awards focus on four areas: health and human services, arts and culture, environment, and public projects. Visit greatamerica.com/giving to apply.
