Daniel Levin, president and co-founder of Liventus, a modernization and decision intelligence firm that has served equipment finance for more than two decades, has spent his career turning painful, manual processes into lasting systems. Early on, he helped Beacon Funding become one of the first firms to implement Microsoft’s CRM, then automated enough of the business to sustain growth through a staff reduction during COVID.
“Equipment finance has always had the data,” Levin says. “What’s changed is that systems can now reason over that data instead of just storing it, so credit decisions are faster and more consistent.”
Levin starts by addressing the pain, not the technology — sometimes modernizing around platforms and sometimes replacing them outright. Today, his focus is agentic AI: turning processes that rely on individual effort into durable systems.
