Lilibeth Martinez drives enterprise-wide inclusion as vice chair of Assurant’s inaugural Abilities@Assurant Employee Resource Group. Inspired by her personal advocacy for a family member with apraxia of speech, Martinez helped build the governance, foundation and educational initiatives that support employees with visible and invisible disabilities. Through targeted programming on neurodiversity, accessibility and caregiver support, she empowers managers to lead with empathy.

“Inclusion means creating a workplace where people can bring their whole selves to work, feel seen, heard and valued for their unique abilities and perspectives, and where barriers are removed so everyone has the opportunity to succeed,” Martinez says.

By embedding accessibility into everyday leadership, she is helping transform disability awareness into meaningful cultural progress, creating a workplace where belonging, opportunity and inclusion are part of the everyday experience.
