Our client, a fast-growing equipment finance company, is seeking to hire an accomplished, strategic-minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to take a leadership role in shaping the company’s financial direction, driving strategic growth, and strengthening overall business performance.
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking financial executive with extensive experience in accounting, financial management, strategic planning, and corporate finance. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing the financial insight and strategic direction necessary to support the company’s continued success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and lead the company’s overall financial strategy, policies, and objectives.
- Provide executive leadership across accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury functions.
- Lead the company’s securitization strategy.
- Partner with senior management on strategic business decisions, growth initiatives, and financial opportunities.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, operational improvements, and business expansion.
- Oversee external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA and CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven executive leadership, supervisory, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial systems, accounting software, and spreadsheet applications.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
