Miles Herman, co-founder of LEAF, is stepping away from the company after 25 years, according to a LinkedIn post.
Herman watched LEAF grow from an entrepreneurial vision into its current business through its years as an independent company, its partnership with People’s United Bank and its time with M&T Bank. The constant throughout, Herman said, was the commitment, talent and heart of LEAF’s people.
“What I will carry with me most are the relationships,” Herman, co-founder of LEAF, said, citing colleagues who became friends, customers and partners who trusted the company, and people across the equipment finance, banking and investor communities who supported it. “Building a business together creates bonds that last well beyond any role or title.”
Herman expressed confidence in the strength of the organization and in the team that would carry LEAF forward. Herman also thanked everyone who had been part of his journey with LEAF over the last 25 years.
“It has been an honor to build alongside you,” Herman said.
