Dominion Leasing Software, a provider of lease accounting software for the equipment finance industry, named Donna Kivikko its new president. The appointment follows the retirement of Clinton Dunlow, the company’s former president and CEO, and Dominion’s acquisition by Banyan Software, a company that focuses on acquiring and growing enterprise software businesses.
Dominion will continue to “provide exceptional, personal customer service and a deep commitment to understanding and meeting each client’s unique needs,” Kivikko said. “In addition, we will provide the equipment finance industry with the most innovative accounting and asset management solutions through the products and services in our CompleteSuite.”
Kivikko joined Dominion Leasing Software as an analyst in 2005 before being promoted to vice president then to chief operating officer. In this role, she spearheaded operations and functional enhancements to customer service and oversaw many of the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business.
“I am impressed by and delighted at Donna’s passion for Dominion, its staff and its customers. We have an exemplary individual whose vision, integrity and unwavering dedication will undoubtedly shape a bright future for the company’s products and services under her leadership,” Allan Lamar, operating partner at Banyan Software, said.
“What is gratifying as we move forward with Banyan is that Banyan takes a unique approach to investment that prioritizes people and talent. They allow the businesses they invest in to continue operating independently,” Kivikko said. “This approach ensures that businesses can continue to operate without disruption, which can help maintain customer relations, ongoing projects and revenue streams. For employees, it means helping maintain the established culture and dynamics, which can be critical to continued success.”
