Online equipment dealer FMI Equipment named Brett Davis president after Dave Kopp, the company’s founder and former president, stepped down. Kopp will remain with FMI as chief development officer.

“Dave has built a strong business and cultivated numerous relationships in the industry; it is an honor for me that he has chosen me to be his successor,” Davis said. “I am pleased that Dave has agreed to stay with FMI to continue to support and grow the company.”

Davis worked at CNH Industrial for more than 25 years in various leadership roles, including leading New Holland North America, an agricultural and construction brand, and CNH Industrial Capital.

“It has been an incredible journey building FMI Equipment, and I am proud of what we have accomplished,” Kopp said. “I am confident that Brett is the right leader to guide the company through its next chapter. His wealth of experience and strategic vision will undoubtedly drive FMI Equipment to new heights.”
