Odessa Expands Sales Leadership Team

Odessa, a provider of technology solutions for asset finance, announced the appointment of Andrew Baird to senior vice president of North American sales and XaaS.

In this role, Baird will lead new business in tandem with global sales leadership and be responsible for the North American sales organization and XaaS business, driving new sales and account expansion, as well as channel partnerships. He previously worked in the role of vice president, North American sales at FIS in the capital markets division and later auto and equipment finance.

“I’m excited by the spirit and opportunity that exist at Odessa and look forward to working with the entire team in furthering Odessa’s mission to help businesses innovate,” Baird said. “Odessa is building an amazing legacy as the technology leader in asset finance and the sharing economy.”

In the past 12 months, Odessa has grown to more than 1200 employees across its global workforce supporting customers doing business in 55 countries. Notably, Odessa has led pioneering subscription-based pricing, pay-per-use features for customers, and launched as-a-service capability for non-traditional finance products.

“We’re very proud of the growth and successes of the last few years with Odessa,” commented Madhu Natarajan, co-founder and CEO at Odessa. “With broadened capacity with our leadership team, we’ll continue to support businesses as they look to adapt and thrive in their go to market approach to financial services.”
