Odessa announced that co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Madhu Natarajan will transition to a newly created role of executive chairman, and experienced software leader Eric Bernstein will become chief executive officer effective May 1, 2023.
Bernstein is joining Odessa from EquityZen, where he served as chief operating officer and oversaw EquityZen’s strategy and delivery of its solutions. Prior to EquityZen, Bernstein served in various senior leadership roles at Broadridge Asset Management Solutions, eFront, Sophis and LineData.
To further support Odessa’s growth momentum, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Jay Mehra will also transition from his current role and become vice chairman effective May 1, 2023. Stepping into the role of chief technology officer is Roopa Jayaraman, Odessa’s current managing director in India and a key part of company programs and leaderships for nearly a decade. The company is also promoting Sumit Maheshwari to the role of chief financial officer from his current position of senior vice president of finance.
