Julian Ponce joined SLR Equipment Finance as risk analyst of the risk department. In his new role, Ponce will utilize his prior experience in credit analysis and financial services to help grow SLR Equipment Finance’s financial solutions platform.
Ponce was most recently an underwriting analyst at Sabal Capital Partners, where he primarily focused on reviewing and analyzing loan, borrower and property level due diligence. Prior to Sabal Capital Partners, he served as research analyst at Moody’s corporation CRE researching and analyzing all sectors and subtypes of commercial real estate.
“I look forward to bringing my industry and underwriting experience to SLR Equipment Finance,” Ponce said. “SLR has a proven track record and a skilled team of equipment financing professionals providing unique financing solutions. I look forward to growing SLR’s financing services and working with our partners.”

Ponce graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Management from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
