Peapack-Gladstone Financial and Peapack Private Bank hired John Soffronoff as enterprise risk and compliance officer responsible for developing and maintaining effective, efficient and scalable risk management and compliance programs commensurate with Peapack Private’s growth and strategy objectives.
Soffronoff brings 35 years of extensive experience in risk and compliance management for the financial services industry to the bank. Most recently, he served as partner at Capco, where he led the community banking practice, assisting clients with complex regulatory and compliance issues. Prior to Capco, Soffronoff was executive director at FIS where he led the enterprise governance, risk and compliance consulting practice, established the managed services delivery channel and created the Center of Regulatory Intelligence and GRC implementation teams. His previous roles also include president, ICS risk advisors and examiner/review examiner at the FDIC.
Soffronoff holds a BA in economics from Moravian College. He is actively involved with the HV3 Foundation Mentorship Program and First Tee Greater Charlotte.
