EquipmentShare has opened a new flagship Advanced Solutions facility in Grain Valley, Missouri, representing an investment of more than $21 million in the local economy and creating new jobs in the region.
The 49,000-square-foot facility, located at 3320 S. Outer Belt Road, will serve as a Midwest hub for construction and industrial services, supporting major builds, disaster response and critical infrastructure projects. The company will celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community event at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
“This new branch represents a significant investment in the Grain Valley community and our larger commitment to supporting the growth of construction across the Midwest,” said Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder of EquipmentShare. “We are proud to bring our People First culture and next-generation technology to this region and continue building the future of construction — together with our customers and team members.”
The facility features service bays, a paint room, a training hub, and designated “hard down” zones for large equipment, including semis. It will also function as a distribution center for regional Core Solutions branches. The Grain Valley location is expected to manage $10–15 million in original equipment cost (OEC) and support 15 full-time jobs, with 12 employees already on board.
Powered by EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3™ technology platform, the facility will offer tech-enabled rental services such as smart maintenance tracking, access keypads, and real-time fleet visibility to reduce downtime and increase safety and efficiency on jobsites.
“We’ve designed this facility with the contractor in mind,” said Tyrel Wagner, general manager of the Grain Valley branch. “This isn’t just a place to rent equipment — it’s a hub where problems get solved, timelines get met, and teams get the support they need to do their best work.”
As part of its community engagement, EquipmentShare will present a $2,500 donation to Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity during the opening event to support affordable housing initiatives in Eastern Jackson County.
“Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to be awarded this significant Community Giving Award,” said Christina Leakey, president and CEO of the organization. “The missions of both organizations align well, helping to improve communities through people, partnerships and purpose.”
