FNBC Bank has hired Tony Futrell as business development officer, bringing more than four decades of banking experience in the Jonesboro market to the growing community bank.
Futrell, who began his banking career in 1978, will report to Community President Gabe Roberts and support FNBC’s strategic business development efforts, with a focus on expanding commercial relationships across the region.
“Tony is a well-respected banker in the Jonesboro community and brings a deep understanding of the market,” said Roberts. “His experience, relationships and commitment to service will be a great asset to our continued growth.”
Prior to joining FNBC, Futrell served as senior vice president in the lending division of another Jonesboro-based bank. He is a graduate of Jonesboro High School and holds a degree in business administration from Arkansas State University. He also completed the Arkansas Bankers Association Lending School and the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.
“We are excited to add someone of Tony’s caliber to our team,” said Trent Brown, executive vice president and chief lending officer. “His knowledge of the Jonesboro market and his dedication to relationship banking align perfectly with FNBC’s mission of community-focused, personalized financial services.”
Futrell is also known for his civic involvement, having served on the boards of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce and Abilities Unlimited. He has volunteered with the United Way, served as an E911 Reserve Dispatcher, and is active in organizations including Civitan, Exchange Club, Rotary and the Jonesboro Citizens Police Academy. He is a longtime member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro.
“I’m honored to join FNBC Bank and be part of a team that truly values its communities and customers,” Futrell said. “Jonesboro has been my home and professional base for decades, and I look forward to continuing to serve the people and businesses here in this new role.”
Futrell and his wife, Kim, reside in Jonesboro and have four adult children and five grandchildren.
FNBC is an $800 million-asset community bank serving North Central and Northeast Arkansas and South-Central Missouri.
