Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), a global financial group, was awarded five 2024 Deal of the Year Awards from Ishka, a provider of data and information services to the aviation industry. MUFG’s awards for 2024 were in the following categories:
- Best Americas Deal 2024: Boeing’s $24.3 billion upsized dual-tranche offering, with MUFG as co-manager.
- Best MEA Deal 2024: Altavair / Qatar Airways $75.6 million term loan, with MUFG as a structuring lead.
- Best Commercial Bank Deal 2024: VivaAerobus $259 million portfolio term loan, with MUFG as sole lead structurer and MLA.
- Best Used Aircraft Deal 2024: United Airlines’ ~$1.35 billion EETC, with MUFG as a passive bookrunner.
- Sustainable Financing Pioneer Award: IAG’s $3 billion Sustainability-linked RCF, with MUFG as lender.
