Equipment Finance Cares’ Chicago event, hosted by Wintrust Asset Finance, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Wintrust Financial building on S LaSalle Street.
“Equipment Finance Cares is excited to be back in Chicago,” Jesse Johnson, founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “We are grateful to Wintrust for hosting and our sponsors for making these events possible.”
A panel titled “The Human Side of Equipment Finance,” moderated by Rick Remiker from The Alta Group, includes Brent Hall, chief operating officer of Alliance Funding Group; Dennis Dressler, partner at Dressler and Peters; Brittney Weber, founder of BW Collective; and Jeff Wolinski, president of Wintrust Equipment Finance.
Kat Walsh, a voice on Gen Z in the workplace, will be the featured speaker for the Chicago Equipment Finance Cares event. As the equipment finance industry prepares for the next wave of professionals entering the workforce, Walsh will provide high-level insights into what Gen Z values in an employer, how they define motivation and the workplace dynamics shaping their career decisions. Following her presentation, Johnson will moderate a fireside chat with Walsh, inviting audience participation to explore practical strategies for engaging, retaining and empowering the next generation of talent.
Foundations showcased at this event include Big Brothers Big Sister of Chicago, EB Research, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Joel Cornette Foundation and MedShare.
Networking will conclude the day, with a two-hour reception at Holly’s Bar inside the Wintrust Financial Building.
“Wintrust is honored to host Equipment Finance Cares here in Chicago,” Kirk Phillips, president and CEO of Wintrust Asset Finance, said. “Wintrust invests to make meaningful change in our communities, and we are proud to support Equipment Finance Cares as it works to create a culture of caring in the industry.”
