Seymore’s career spans a diverse range of roles in financial services. She began in residential whole loan trading and mortgage-backed securitizations, progressing through transaction management and sales roles at Nomura in New York and Chicago. She later led the corporate finance team at Chesapeake Energy, overseeing credit and hedge facilities while playing a key role in capital markets activities. Most recently, at Cargill, she directed a team in the Trade & Capital Markets group, managing the settlement of global trade finance transactions.

Her career path also includes meaningful time outside of corporate finance. Seymore spent a period as a stay-at-home mother and occasionally taught as a substitute in local schools, experiences that broadened her perspective and strengthened her creativity and adaptability. These chapters, combined with her extensive financial expertise, contribute to her human-centered approach to leadership and problem-solving.
