MedShare, a 501c(3) humanitarian aid organization, has received a donation of six pieces of equipment from DLL, a global finance company.
The equipment provided by DLL includes two pallet jacks, three electric forklifts and a charger, which will impact the productivity of MedShare’s warehouse, where they work to source and directly deliver surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world.
“This donation from DLL is a game-changer for our operations,” Stacey Koehnke, CEO and executive director of MedShare International, said. “The pallet jacks and electric forklifts will dramatically improve the efficiency of our warehouse, allowing us to assemble ocean container shipments faster and get critical medical supplies to first responders and communities in need without delay. By reducing bottlenecks and eliminating the cost of temporary labor, this equipment helps us stretch every dollar further and respond quickly when lives are on the line.”
Neal Garnett, chief commercial officer and executive board member of DLL, added, “I was inspired by MedShare’s mission when I learned about their work at a recent ELFA conference. I’m proud that DLL didn’t hesitate to step in and was able to provide warehouse equipment they urgently needed. Supporting organizations that deliver life-saving resources aligns perfectly with our commitment to building meaningful industry connections and channeling our resources toward causes that make a real difference.”
