Senior Credit Analyst

Contract Capital Corp (CCC) provides capital and ancillary services to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the IT and Telecom (ICT) sector. CCC originates contracts through MSPs that provide essential ICT solutions such as Unified Communications, Network Security, or IT Infrastructure Hosting, to their existing and new clients. The services being delivered in these contracts are core and critical to the operation of the MSP’s clients. MSPs who deliver these solutions ‘as a Service’, stand to benefit by providing a sticky, profitable mix of services to their clients. JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Credit Analyst, has the responsibility to review and process commercial credit transactions typically ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 across a variety of industries originated through pre-qualified Managed Service Providers within the ICT sector including IT and Communications. The position will decision transactions within its designated authority and provide recommendations to management on others. The position will also be responsible for preparing annual reviews on existing Commercial End Clients when applicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties

  • Gather required information on Commercial End Clients.
  • Gather information on and evaluate prospective Managed Service Provider Partners.
  • Review transaction applications for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Research industries, markets, and ICT solutions/infrastructure, as necessary.
  • Underwrite, recommend and/or decision transactions generally ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 within designated authority.
  • Assist Senior Management with spreading Financial Statements using the Moody’s Analytics CreditLens platform.
  • Provide recommendations to senior members of the credit team on transactions above designated authority.
  • Communicate with Managed Service Providers (when necessary) in a professional manner via phone or email.
  • Maintain working knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance issues as they pertain to this position.
  • Complete required training.
  • Loss prevention and security as applicable for this position.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Obtain & analyze public and private information such as Financial Statements, Dun & Bradstreet, Paynet and Credit Bureau reports, as well as Secretary of State corporate name verifications etc.
  • Review and spread financial statements to provide formative analysis regarding performance and trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend Credit Transactions to Senior Management.
  • Work collaboratively with all CCC Team Members.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial credit underwriting experience.
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree required with a major in Finance or Management preferred.
  • Credit Course accreditations a positive.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment.

  • Responds promptly to Managed Service Provider Partner needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, twist, bend, sit, walk use hands to twist, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, such as computer mouse, computer keyboard, calculator, stapler, telephone, staple puller, etc., reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

TOTAL REWARDS

Compensation

For this position, we anticipate an annual salary range between $90,000 and $100,000. Final employment offers will be dependent upon the selected candidate’s relevant qualifications and experience.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a taxable stipend, paid through payroll, intended to support employees’ overall benefits and personal expenses. This stipend is not a health insurance plan, does not require proof of coverage, and may be used at the employee’s discretion. Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance and 401(k) benefits are not currently available.
