First Commonwealth Bank appointed a new development officer to its equipment finance group (EFG). Mike Basile brings nearly 15 years of equipment financing and banking experience to First Commonwealth. In this role, he is responsible for cultivating new equipment finance relationships in FCB’s Pennsylvania markets and expanding existing business with current clients by working directly with lenders as a dedicated product partner.
“Mike has extensive experience in this niche area of the banking industry,” Mike Kaplan, middle market development leader for First Commonwealth’s EFG, said. “His strong relationships in this market along with his extensive experience will be great assets to our team to open opportunities with new companies.”
The past two years, Basile served as a business development officer for Wintrust Commercial Finance in Garnet Valley, PA. Previously, he also held similar business development positions in the equipment finance channel for several financial institutions through central and eastern Pennsylvania.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Basile lives in Garnet Valley, PA.
