Sr. Syndications Associate

Centra Funding is seeking a results-driven Sr Syndications Associate to serve as a liaison between our sales team and our network of lenders. This role required strong credit background and previous experience with a small-ticket equipment financing company. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and critical thinker.

You will develop and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external teams to ensure timely and accurate funding of transactions. This includes Credit, Documentation, Accounting, Customer Service, Funding, and Legal, along with external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact to get transactions funded, working with lenders to highlight transaction value.
• Build and strengthen relationships with Lender partners; act as direct point of contact, attend industry events, anticipate and meet Partner expectations in order to relationships to flourish
• Analyze and understand credit parameters for each partner.
• Review and interpret financial statements, personal financial statements, tax returns, and related documents to match transactions with the appropriate lenders.
• Interpret PayNet, Experian, D&B, and TLO reports.
• Use TValue for transaction analysis and pricing.
• Distribute deals to lenders based on their credit criteria and monitor review progress.
• Own all syndication communications across internal teams and lending partners.
• Keep Centra Funding sales staff informed on deal status, pricing, and funding requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of small-ticket equipment finance experience
• Skilled at quickly evaluating a potential transaction and identifying appropriate lenders with highest change and approval and best structure for customer
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven team collaboration and results-driven mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify inconsistencies with minimal direction
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues
