PlainsCapital Bank added Justin Vohs as senior vice president, senior relationship manager, based at its Round Rock office.
Vohs brings more than 16 years of banking and financial services experience, with a strong background in commercial lending, relationship management and credit underwriting. In his role, he will focus on developing and managing commercial relationships, delivering tailored lending solutions and supporting business clients across Greater Austin.
“Justin’s experience, knowledge of the Central Texas market and commitment to his clients make him a great addition to our team,” Paul Holubec, Austin region chair at PlainsCapital Bank, said. “We’re excited to welcome him to PlainsCapital.”
Prior to joining PlainsCapital Bank, Vohs served as vice president, business banker at First Citizens Bank, where he was responsible for growing both loan and deposit portfolios. His lending experience spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, healthcare and professional services. Earlier in his career, Vohs held several roles at University Federal Credit Union, including business loan officer and senior credit analyst. He also spent nearly seven years at Broadway Bank, where he advanced through multiple positions, including assistant vice president, portfolio manager; assistant vice president, assistant relationship manager and business development officer; commercial credit analyst; and private banking associate.
“I’ve spent my career working with businesses across Central Texas, so PlainsCapital felt like a natural fit,” Vohs said. “I was drawn to the bank’s Texas roots and the way it’s invested in the communities where its clients do business. I’m excited to be part of that and continue serving clients across the region.”
Vohs holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from Texas A&M University and a master of business administration from Concordia University Texas. He serves as a board member for the Capital Area Dental Foundation and is a member of both the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR) and the CCIM Institute.
