Liquid Capital, a subsidiary of the Garrington Group of Companies, providing factoring and working capital solutions across the United States and Canada, appointed Vince Mancuso as CEO.
Mancuso brings more than 25 years of C-level and executive leadership in commercial finance and banking to the role. He returns to Garrington, where he spent seven years. He served in various leadership roles with responsibility for product and program development across factoring, asset-based lending and equipment finance.
Most recently, Mancuso was an executive vice president leading national origination for a bank-owned commercial finance platform, where he led a team of business development officers. Earlier in his career, he held a series of C-suite and senior executive positions at national commercial finance companies and banks, including chief operating officer of a leading North American factor.
“Liquid Capital has been factoring since 1999, and a business with that history needs a leader who knows this work at every level,” Tammy Kemp, president and chief credit officer of the Garrington Group of Companies, said. “Vince has spent three decades in commercial finance, running lending platforms, funding them and teaching the people who run them. We are very pleased he is joining us.”
Mancuso added, “Factoring is a valuable tool for growing businesses, turning work already completed into the working capital they need to keep moving forward. Liquid Capital has been helping businesses do exactly that for more than 25 years. I am glad to be joining a business with this much history in it, where the footprint, the credit discipline and the bank and advisor relationships are already in place. My job is to make sure more of the market knows what this business can do.”
Mancuso is a widely recognized authority in commercial finance. He is the creator and architect of the Secured Finance Certified Professional (SFCP) designation, the asset-based lending industry’s professional certification, and the author of the 21 curricula that support it. He has facilitated more than 130 classes for the Secured Finance Network (SFNet), where he serves on the Educational Committee, and has led executive education missions for the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation on five continents. He is the current host of the International Factoring Association’s Senior Executive Roundtable, a published author and a frequent speaker at industry events. Mancuso holds the SFCP designation from SFNet and the CAEF designation from the IFA.
He is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
