Monitor announced two new breakout sessions for Converge: AI in Equipment Finance, taking place virtually on October 8, 2026, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. ET. David Giller, Founder and CEO of Brainiate, and Kristin Esche, General Counsel at Agiloft, will join the event’s lineup of practitioners exploring how AI is influencing equipment finance and how organizations can move from conversation to practical application.

The new sessions address two increasingly important considerations as organizations expand their use of AI: whether existing workflows are ready for automation and how businesses can put the right guardrails in place to move forward responsibly and confidently.

Before You Automate the Workflow: What AI Will Inherit in Equipment Finance

David Giller, Founder and CEO, Brainiate

Giller will explore how AI inherits the workflows, data, workarounds and human judgment already inside an organization. Attendees will learn how to evaluate individual AI use cases and determine whether to move now, pilot first or address operational barriers before attempting to scale.

AI with Guardrails: Moving Faster Without Flying Blind

Kristin Esche, General Counsel, Agiloft

Esche will examine how organizations can pursue meaningful AI opportunities while establishing practical guardrails around privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, human oversight, accountability and risk. She will also explore how AI can unlock greater value from information already embedded across contracts, transactions and business processes.

AI Conversations Across Equipment Finance

Monitor’s Converge Event: AI in Equipment Finance will feature nine 50-minute practitioner-led breakout sessions across three rounds, giving attendees the opportunity to choose the three conversations most relevant to their roles and organizations.

Sessions span three tracks — TODAY, BE REVOLUTIONARY and BUILD-ROADMAP — and address AI from multiple perspectives across the equipment finance business. From credit, operations and sales to technology, legal, risk, strategy and executive leadership, the program is designed to provide relevant conversations for professionals throughout the organization.

The Converge AI Breakout Lineup Also Includes:

What It Takes to Automate Credit Decisions
Goutham Balaraman, Chief Technology Officer, Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance
