Acquis, a provider of insurance solutions to the European leasing industry, will now provide its services in the U.S., protecting a range of assets across industries such as IT and office equipment, agriculture, manufacturing and renewable energy.
Acquis currently supports more than 120 businesses globally in the finance and leasing industry, reaching 17 countries. Its U.S. offices will be headquartered in Philadelphia and Dallas.
Brian Madison, Acquis’ newly appointed managing director for North America, will be responsible for launching Acquis’ specialist insurance services into the U.S. equipment finance and leasing market. Madison has more than 35 years of experience, having worked for brands such as Microsoft, KeyCorp and Citigroup.
“Having worked in this market for over 35 years, I know the huge potential this industry provides for Acquis and I am looking forward to growing the business into a leader in the U.S. market,” Madison said. “Acquis is already the leading provider of insurance solutions to the leasing industry in Europe. We are intending to bring our specialist expertise, which has been developed over a decade of working with some of the largest finance brands in the world, to the U.S. in order to improve the insurance choices available to equipment financing. I believe that it’s only a matter of time before we are disrupting and leading the way on this side of the Atlantic too.”

Acquis is exhibiting at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s annual conference in Phoenix this week as a kick-off event showcasing its solutions.
