A New York-based financial firm is using business performance metrics rather than personal credit scores to assess small business funding eligibility. Align Innovative’s lending platform connects businesses with financing options, aiming to streamline the funding process.
The platform provides access to various financial products, including equipment financing, term loans, SBA loans, and business lines of credit. According to the company, partnerships with more than 50 lenders and investors offer businesses a range of funding opportunities.
Founder Oliver Akinrele said the approach is designed to address barriers faced by small businesses in securing capital.
“We understand that access to funding is essential for growth,” Akinrele said. “Our platform focuses on the true potential of a business rather than outdated credit metrics.”
The company also provides financial consulting services, which include guidance on debt management, cash flow optimization, and long-term financial planning.
