“There is no predetermined path to success in this field — I’m living proof of that. The equipment finance industry thrives on fearless, driven women who are eager to learn, grow and embrace success. Be one of those women."
Ashlee Henninger
Co-Founder, President and
Chief Operating Officer,
CFG Equipment Finance

Since joining CFG Equipment Finance in 2020 as a founding member, Ashlee Henninger has been an invaluable asset to the team and played a key role in the corporation’s early development. She quickly advanced to the company’s president and chief operating officer, serving as a crucial leader in building lending relationships, streamlining operations and creating a unique business model. Henninger utilizes her passion for entrepreneurship by promoting business growth through equipment investments and takes pride in making a meaningful impact on the success of customers, even when the economic climate gets challenging.

Despite the challenges many faced in 2023, Henninger has expanded CFG Equipment Finance and its sister company, Premier Fleet Solutions, by forming key partnerships with national banks and manufacturers. In addition to massive year-over-year growth, her leadership has led to increased client satisfaction and growth in the company’s influence nationwide — notably, being added as a trusted vendor partner to FedEx and its ISPs. She has also followed through with her dedication to empowering women with her financial education courses.

Through a fostered culture of genuine care for both her employees and her clients, Henninger has developed finance programs that empower borrowers to access the most efficient financing solutions. She believes that the saying “know your customer, know your business” embodies a commitment to prioritizing the customer and their individual needs.

“Ashlee is the bright, energetic and charismatic COO of Capital Financial Group,” Austin Kingsley, vice president of sales vendor relations at Premier Fleet Solutions, says. “Ashlee has bootstrapped Capital Finance Group from start-up to disruptor. Ashlee is a tenacious and selfless team player with a pragmatic, common-sense approach to getting deals done. Ashlee is on the customer’s side; she wants the win as much as the customer, creating an altruistic atmosphere from the top down.”

As technology and the global economy continue to evolve, Henninger remains committed to leaving a legacy of innovative thinking and adaptability in equipment finance. She actively anticipates the changes that will shape the industry over the next decade, and she is confident that, as a prominent leader in the equipment finance space, she will play a key role in driving that transformation and
adjustment.

Henninger has found her true calling in the equipment finance sector, where she deeply values what the industry represents and creates. With a diverse background and strong foundations in finance and business, Henninger has been able to grow and succeed in the industry.

“To all the women in the industry, I encourage you to embrace the full extent of your potential,” Henninger says. “Ask questions, pursue growth opportunities, expand your network and seek out spaces filled with people you admire.”

Henninger carries herself with wisdom beyond her years, working diligently to transform the equipment finance industry while balancing her roles as a business leader, mother and community advocate. Her blend of professional accomplishments and personal resilience makes her an inspirational leader, leaving a positive impact on everyone around her.

Henninger’s willingness to embrace new challenges and seize opportunities has been key to her success. The relationships she has built with partners, colleagues and collaborators have enriched her life and contributed to both her personal achievements and the success of CFG as a whole. •
