Starting her career on the client side implementing complex software projects for financial firms, Kasey Hobson saw the needs of customers firsthand. As she developed, she garnered a deep interest and commitment to solving these problems on a larger scale.

Hobson began her first product role in 2012 and hasn’t looked back since. She has worked for both small and large organizations, gaining invaluable expertise in product management for software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms. Specializing in product operations and frameworks, product-led growth, product strategy and product lifecycle management, Hobson’s diverse knowledge and skillset sets her apart in the industry.

Throughout her career, Hobson has built strong relationships with technology leaders, which led her into more technical pockets of product management, including data, analytics and platform. This journey resulted in her role as the director of platform product management at Solifi, a position she has held since May 2023.

As a Solifi leader, Hobson focuses on empowering her team by creating an environment that celebrates talent and drives growth in each individual. Her ability to foster collaboration and connection continues to lead her team’s success. She has built multiple high-performing teams over her career by identifying the right mix of skills and uniting diverse talents to achieve powerful results.

“Kasey is an invaluable member of Solifi, bringing a wealth of experience to guide her team to success,” Bill Noel, chief product officer at Solifi, says. “She has played a pivotal role in the current success of Solifi Open Finance Platform, which forms the foundations of our secured finance solutions. I look forward to seeing Kasey continue to make an impact in the industry in the future.”

One of Hobson’s biggest passions, formed at the beginning of her career, is solving problems for customers. She is dedicated to exploring how Solifi can deliver valuable and innovative solutions. Her passion for product management has grown over the years, and she has helped to create frameworks and operationalize how the Solifi team brings new products to market.

Among her many accomplishments, Hobson is most proud of having championed and delivered Solifi’s future digital experience platform for customers. “It’s exciting to work across so many levels of organizations and customers to bring this vision to life and solve a major gap in the industry,” Hobson says.

Her other recent accomplishments include accelerating microservice architecture, increasing delivery to six times the amount from the previous year and mentoring product managers across various fields to bring value to their products and customers. Hobson’s professional mission is to be a mentor for the next generation of women as future leaders. “Sharing my experience gives me joy, and there is no greater feeling than helping someone tap into their own superpowers,” Hobson says.

Supporting others is one of Hobson’s top priorities, both as a Solifi team member and in her personal life. In her free time, Hobson launched and led corporate charitable committees at multiple organizations to give back to local communities. She was also appointed as lead for the Raleigh Women in Product Chapter. “It’s been an honor bringing a community of women together to share and learn from each other and speaking at the 2023 Women in Product Conference,” Hobson says. •
