Building Experience Manager
Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation
Jordan Reeve, Building Experience Manager at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (Cat Financial), brings over a decade of experience in the equipment finance industry, backed by a career defined by versatility and proactive leadership.
“I lead through experience,” Reeve says. “Having worked in Treasury, Credit, Insurance, Sales and now Project Management, I’m able to draw from a broad background when designing processes or setting goals.” That multi-departmental insight helps Reeve connect strategy with practical needs, a skill that has shaped her effectiveness in deploying digital initiatives for Cat dealers and customers. Now, Reeve is applying that skill to Cat Financial’s headquarters renovation project as she steps into a new role this month.
Reeve’s leadership reaches beyond Caterpillar. She currently chairs the Emerging Talent Committee of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, where she advocates for professional development and visibility for younger professionals in the field. “Three years ago, I didn’t know anyone in the industry outside of Cat Financial,” she says. “Now I’m helping plan national conferences.
Reeve’s approach to leadership is grounded in intentional networking and broad participation. She’s chaired internal employee resource groups and co-led a company apprenticeship program focused on sales roles, all while completing her MBA.
She sees talent retention as a major challenge in equipment finance, particularly with shifting workforce expectations. “We need to keep young professionals engaged by offering them ways to grow and connect,” she says, citing ELFA’s Power of People Summit as a step in that direction.
Looking ahead, Reeve believes digital transformation will define the next phase of the industry. “Customers want flexibility — online applications, digital signatures — the ability to transact business on their time. We have to meet them there.”
Her vision for the industry is one where innovation and initiative aren’t reserved for the executive suite. “Ideas come from everywhere,” Reeve says. “We just need to give them space to be heard.
“The opportunities I have received during my career would not have happened unless I took the extra time to get to know people outside of my immediate environment.”
