VISION FOR THE FUTURE:

“My ultimate vision for the equipment finance industry is to see the results of the industry’s steadfast efforts toward the recognition and advancement of talented women in leadership roles within the leasing and finance space. I am dedicated to furthering those efforts to ensure that women are recognized for their meaningful contributions to the industry.”

Gavrilov has, both personally and on behalf of MHH, continuously demonstrated a steadfast commitment to furthering diversity and inclusion efforts in the leasing and finance and legal industries. Gavrilov chairs the firm’s women’s initiative program, which provides women of the firm insight, perspective, opportunity and a platform to assist in their career development and advancement while also serving as an active member of the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee. Gavrilov has been repeatedly recognized by her peers in the last year for her accomplishments in the leasing and finance industry, including her recognition by Monitor as a NextGen Leader for 2021, the Secured Finance Network as a 40 Under 40 recipient for 2020 and a Top Women in Secured Finance for 2020.

“Julia is a rising star who consistently delivers value and good judgment in her work for our clients and has undertaken leadership and mentoring roles in our firm and the finance industry,” Marc Hamroff, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, says. “She brings a common sense approach to solving our clients’ legal issues and uses her training as a litigator to effectively negotiate on the deal-making side of the finance industry. Significantly, she has exemplified both our industry’s and our firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.”

Julia was promoted to a partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2022.
