Cindy Fleck, CLFP

Senior Vice President and General Manager
Channel Partners Equipment Finance

As senior vice president and general manager of Channel Partners Equipment Finance, Cindy Fleck has taken the lead on starting a new division for Channel to offer a financing option to its partners. She has spent her “COVID-19 time” this year developing a great team and working with them to set up systems, processes and procedures for the finance product. Her 30 years of industry experience, including 21 years working with third party equipment finance companies and nine years in direct sales at GreatAmerica, made her an excellent choice to come back to Channel Partners and lead this initiative.

VISION FOR THE FUTURE:

“I see an industry of integrity that embraces technology and is driven by forward-thinking individuals who look to find better ways to truly enhance our partners’ businesses and their success in meeting the needs of small and medium businesses. It is also imperative that we, as leaders, engage in developing the next generation of leaders.”

Fleck began her career at US Bank Manifest Funding Services in 1990 on the credit side of the business, learning the industry from the underwriting perspective. Leadership recognized her innate ability to build relationships and her passion to partner with customers to help them be successful, and they encouraged her to begin her sales career in 1998. Fleck eventually completed her career at Manifest after spending three years as director of sales for the western half of the U.S.

After 18 months helping Channel Partners launch its working capital company, Fleck joined GreatAmerica in 2010, continuing her track record of success as she expanded her experience to include direct manufacturing and vendor sales. She was instrumental in launching GreatAmerica’s specialty finance division, ultimately leading the sales team as vice president of sales. Fleck sincerely appreciates this experience, as it gave her a deep appreciation for what equipment finance companies must do to be successful and why they are important to the success of small and medium businesses.

“One of Cindy’s greatest strengths comes from the variety of risk management and origination experiences she has had in our industry. These experiences provide her with a unique big picture and balanced view of the business and opportunities. Cindy combines these strengths with one of the best sets of client management and relationship skills I have ever observed. I truly applaud her success and recognition,” David Pohlman, COO at GreatAmerica Financial Services, says.

When asked about her professional mission, Fleck says, “That is simple. It aligns with my personal mission: do what’s right, do what you say you’re going to do and help others succeed.”
