Wendy Callahan transitioned to the equipment finance department at SouthState Bank. She will report to Chris Hobbs, director of equipment finance. Callahan will be based in the Charlotte, NC.
“Wendy joined SouthState a little more than three years ago and has been an integral part of helping build our new equipment finance line of business over the past year,” Hobbs said. “Her expertise in the indirect and direct equipment finance markets, to include documentation and operations, will be a tremendous win for the bank and the equipment finance team.”
Callahan comes from within SouthState Bank where she worked with the commercial bank, the private bank and the equipment finance group as a commercial loan administrator for three years. Prior to SouthState, Wendy worked for CIT, Volvo Financial Services and Wells Fargo equipment finance in various operational roles and document management positions.
