Funding Coordinator

THE POSITION

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our Funding team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end documentation, verification, and funding process for equipment and real estate finance transactions. This role ensures all deal structures are accurately documented, compliant with credit approvals, and legal requirements, and funded in a timely manner. The coordinator serves as a critical control point between Credit, Sales, Referral Partners (Brokers and Dealers), and Customers to deliver excellent service while facilitating an efficient closing process.

 

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and deliver loan and lease documentation packages in accordance with approved credit structures
  • Coordinate document execution with customers, referral partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Gather, review, and organize documentation to ensure compliance and proper collateral perfection
  • Manage end-to-end funding for approved loans with accuracy and speed
  • Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Referral Partners, and Customers to resolve discrepancies and meet pre-funding requirements, including verification of information provided in the loan documents and in the credit application
  • Support deal flow through accurate data entry and efficient file management
  • Maintain strong relationships through responsive, professional customer service
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, credit approvals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience with Enterprise servicing or loan application systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi or Russian is a plus

 

Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Undergraduate degree is preferred but 2 years of college education is helpful.
  • 5+ years of professional experience working in an office setting
  • 2+ years of funding or customer service experience within the financial services industry is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications.
