Title Specialist

Irvine, CA

North Mill Equipment Finance is seeking a Title Specialist. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, hardworking, and committed to the success of the department. Experience in the industry is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.


  • Complete vehicle title transactions related to purchases, repossession and paid off accounts.
  • Ensure transfers are done in a timely manner according to state processing times.
  • Verify accuracy of titles, such as VIN #, assignments, liens, and ownership.
  • Contact motor vehicle offices, vendors, and brokers regarding outstanding titles.
  • Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and staff.
  • Interact with other departments as necessary to identify and resolve customer questions or concerns.
  • Maintain working knowledge of motor vehicle department rules and regulations.
  • Special projects, duties, and other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 1 – 2 years of title processing experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to multitask/prioritize daily and monthly responsibilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with teammates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
