The Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation announced that 17 individuals have passed the CLFP exam and earned the designation.
The exam was proctored online and marks a milestone for professionals across a range of roles and companies within the commercial equipment finance industry.
The new CLFPs are:

- Gabrielle Burgin – Funding Coordinator, Channel

- Cody Hastings – Project Manager II, LEAF Commercial Capital Inc.
- Chad Johnson – Accounting Manager, Channel
- Shelly Joseph – Senior Account Manager, Key Equipment Finance
- John Kounalis – Training & Development Coordinator, Trans Lease, Inc.
- Alexandra Llorca – Account Executive, Key Equipment Finance
- Nathan Lukasavitz (Associate) – Account Manager, KLC Financial, Inc.
- Patrick Marty – Underwriting Analyst – Working Capital, Channel
- Kellen Scanlan – Order Processing Manager, Impact Networking, LLC
- Tyler Seeger – Director of Accounting, Channel
- Vivian Skye (Associate) – Default Management Support Specialist, Channel
- Casey Walsh – Managing Director, Brean Capital, LLC
- Shiyue Zhong (Associate) – Accounting Associate, Channel
“Earning this certification brings credibility,” said John Kounalis of Trans Lease. “As I teach and mentor others about our industry, it helps reinforce the idea that I’ve been there and done that.”
Gabrielle Burgin, who attended Channel’s Academy for Lease & Finance Professionals (ALFP) in March, said she took the exam to deepen her expertise and challenge herself. “Earning this certification is a testament to my dedication, resilience, and passion for continuous growth,” she said.
The CLFP designation identifies individuals as knowledgeable professionals in the commercial equipment finance industry. Certified professionals and associates are located throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, India, Pakistan, Africa and Australia.
