Eastern Funding, a specialty finance lender to businesses nationwide, recently announced the appointment of Nancy Robles to the role of CEO. Robles remains President of the company.
Eastern Funding Founder, Michael Fanger, who previously served as CEO, remains with the company and will focus on the cultivation of new and existing relationships and mentoring the sales and leadership teams.
In addition to her current responsibilities managing credit policy, risk management, governance and directing organizational strategy, Robles will also focus on strengthening the company’s relationships with customers and partners and building its brand reputation externally.
“Eastern has been my home for the past 20 years, and my commitment to our colleagues, customers and business partners remains unwavering. I am fully dedicated to advancing our mission of excellence across every area of the organization and ensuring we consistently meet and exceed our customers’ needs,” said Robles.
Robles’ promotion is part of a long-planned leadership transition. Veteran members of Eastern Funding’s early leadership team, including Co-Founder Brian Grell and Chief Lending Officer Marc Stern, remain with the company and now focus on mentoring, training and brand ambassadorship.
