The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association released the detailed agenda for Emergence2023, which will be held July 13 to July 14 at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The two-day event will be hosted by the ELFA’s Emerging Talent Advisory Council and will focus on leadership development for emerging talent in the equipment finance industry. The agenda will feature hot-topic sessions and interactive networking opportunities, all organized around the theme “Think, Act and Inspire Like a Leader!”
“We are on a mission to help the next generation of leaders to succeed in the equipment finance industry,” Svetlana Kralik, CLFP, chair of the ELFA’s Emerging Talent Advisory Council , said. “Emergence2023 will provide important content along with helping attendees to build relationships with peers within the industry. We look forward to learning and networking with members of the emerging talent community on July 13-14.”
Highlights of the Emergence2023 agenda will include:
- Interactive session on “Finding Your Way: Navigating Fear and Uncertainty in the Workplace” with leadership speaker Pierre Quinn, who will teach attendees how to build resilience, stay calm under pressure and approach uncertainty with confidence
- Ask a leader panel on “How Future Leaders Prepare for the Next Opportunity” featuring industry leaders discussing actionable strategies for progressing in the leadership journey
- “Essential Leadership: Caring Enough to Expect Excellence” with leadership trainer Chris McDonell, who will focus on effective communication skills to inspire and motivate others
- Keynote on “Economic Outlook and the Future of the Industry” with senior economist Alice Moore of Keybridge
- “The Power of Professional Presence,” a transparent, interactive conversation about how we are received by others with industry leader Jennifer Fanz
- “Focus on Your Future” showcasing various development opportunities available through advanced education and industry certifications
- Multiple networking opportunities, including a networking breakfast and lunch, cocktail reception, fun walk and dine around
